A portrait of Alexandra Manolopoulos

For nearly four years, the ÐÒÔË¿ìÈý has been my home away from home. It's a big campus, but small enough that everyone has a chance to find community. The College of Business and Economics (CBE) offers so many great ways to network. Opportunities are there for you to seize them!

As a future graduate, I am excited to see where my degree in management and human resources will take me, wherever I go. This spring, my journey led to a semester of study abroad in Barcelona, Spain — an experience that truly changed my life. In Spain, I attended classes and learned how to run a business while exploring the region and encountering the history of this amazing country. Living abroad taught me so much about myself, deepening my perspective on life and how I want to live it.

I want to make an impact on the world by giving back. Many different organizations have helped me get my foot in the door, creating opportunities and assistance that led me to where I am today. I will feel fulfilled when I am able to give back to the organizations that have helped me so much!

Scholarships and grants made it possible for me to afford college and be part of so many special moments, including Greek Life through the Gamma Phi Beta sorority, and studies abroad. The C.W. Moore Scholarship in CBE, the ÐÒÔË¿ìÈý Access Scholarship and the Freshman Access Scholarship allowed me to have a flexible schedule, focus on my academics and make the Dean's List over several semesters, all without having to worry about how I was going to pay for college.

I am inspired to give back to the Vandal community and help others in need afford their own unforgettable college experience.

To donors, I say, thank you so much for your generosity! You have truly influenced my life and furthered my education. One day soon, I want to give another student the support and opportunities that I enjoyed. I am inspired to give back to the Vandal community and help others in need afford their own unforgettable college experience.
